Continuous Evaluation: Assessments are conducted regularly to provide feedback and enhance learning experiences. There are four assessments in a year, two in each term. Every assessment is divided into a Pen & Paper test and a Learning Activity. For learning activities various methods such as oral work, mind maps, open-book assignments, classroom discussions, project work, research, experimentation, and written worksheets etc are employed.
There are four assessments: - Two Periodic Tests, one Half Yearly Examinations and one Annual Examinations.
- It is mandatory to give and pass the Annual Examinations to get a promotion to the next class with a minimum of 40% marks in cumulative theory and practical/ assessment of notebooks, assignments and subject enrichment activities separately to get a promotion to the next class.
- If a child scores less than the minimum passing marks in two subjects in cumulative result 3 she/he will have to appear for a re-exam.
- Students studying in classes VI-VIII need to have 75% attendance.
- All policies are subject to change as per the modifications and amendments in CBSE norms.
- No retest will be conducted in case of absenteeism in Periodic Tests. Only if the child is representing the school, the paper will be conducted with due permission from the Headmistress.
- Retest in Half Yearly/ Annual Examination will be conducted in case a student suffers from a serious ailment with the condition that the guardian bring his/her medical certificate the same day and get permission from the Headmistress.
Assessments are conducted as per CBSE guidelines.
